USAT Logan
used as troop transport during Spanish American war
previoulsy SS Manitoba cruise ship
it was commisioned for the war
the photo measures approx 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
mounted on a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" photo album card
the upper right corner is missing
on the back of the card written in pencil "TRANSPORT LOGAN THE BOAT THAT BROUGHT US OVER"
there is a small blue/green spot on the photo and it shows a bit of age wear
