Macon County's Men and Women and Their Families

From the brief biographical sketch provided, and the long list of medals awarded to him, including an Asiatic-Pacific theatre Ribbon with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, Bronze Star Medal, Silver Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal, it is obvious that Mr. Nicholls is one of the Heroes in our Midst.  He designated all  profit from the book to go to the Salvation Army.  Out of respect for that request and for his courage and service, all proceeds of the sale of this book will be given to the Salvation Army.
