Sword straps are user adjustable to meet the individual needs of the user.

Leather is top quality for rugged use and should last a long, long time with proper maintenance of the leather.  Designed to hold the weight of a full size sword of whatever design.

All connection points, rivets, D rings, J dismount hook, are all brass.

All leather products are designed after similar Civil War vintage belts on display in the Civil War museums in Franklin and Shiloh, TN.  We have sold several hundred of our products and accessories without one being returned.

We build these in our leather shop here in Tennessee.  All leather items are cut from complete full cowhide sides and are heavy, thick bridal leather quality 8-10 oz. leather.  You should not accept any less for durability and wear.  We do not use pre-cut or pre-made items for use or re-sell to the public.  After cutting, the pieces are crafted in our leather shop for proper design, completed, and checked twice for quality, durable construction.

Heavy Duty Military SURPLUS DUFFEL BAG with straps

This auction is for one used surplus Army duffle bag in good condition.  It has been issued and will have some writing on it, all seams will be intact, little or no tears and all hardware is functional.  The pictures are representative of the item for sale but is not the actual bag.  I have too many and it is impractical to take pictures of each one.  Please ask any questions before you bid.  Thank you.

This is a heavy-duty genuine U.S. military issue duffel bag, in used condition.

Approximately 37 in. tall. When full, itis 12 1/2 in. wide. Laying flat, it is about 22 in. wide. Durable Class 1 single-wall duck and nylon construction. American Civil War Army Colonel's Extra Rich Shoulder Straps.

These are NON-REGULATION!! Since officers purchased their own uniforms, the more dashing the individual the more he customize his uniform to fit his personality!

While there are plenty of examples our there, I have attached photos of 5 Colonels wearing the extra rich straps.

These are an exclusive offer and you will not find a comparable set anywhere!!!They are made of gold & silver bullion embroidered on velour, so they will age like the originals when exposed to the elements.  And, while many variation existed at the time, these particular straps are modeled after a set worn by Colonel Luther Prentiss Bradley, late of the 51st Illinois Volunteer Infantry, who was wounded twice at Chickamauga and again at Spring Hill during the Battle of Franklin! His uniform is on display at the Army Heritage Center, U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA and these straps are accurate to the original including the eagle's dark amber glass eye!

 Since they are hand-embroidered the straps you receive may vary slightly from the picture you see here.  Each strap measures 4 3/4” (110mm) x 2 1/4” (55mm) 

 By comparison, standard straps (as shown and available on another listing) measure 4" (105mm) x 1 3/8” (35mm)
