Liege Belgium World War II Photo People Crossing Meuse

This is a actuall photograph taken rignt after the Liberation of Liege Belgium by the Allies in Sept 1944, (the date is handwritten on back).  This picture shows how the people crossed the Meuse River on a bombed bridge by walking on planks and Boards nail to the bed of the bridge.  The picture has writing on the back and measures 7" X 5".
