Pettit of the 202nd Pennsylvania Volunteers, Co. A. Also on rear EP, same stamp. This verifies this to be a genuine Civil War field carried Holy Bible!

Ordered to Pennsylvania May 20. Duty in the Lehigh District coal regions of Pennsylvania till July. Mustered out at Harrisburg August 3, 1865.
