WWII Letter 1945 Atomic Bomb Russians War WW II 2 45 NR

An original World War Two letter including the envelope that belonged to Navy Sailor Fred O'Brien.  This was a letter written to him.  The envelope is postmarked Aug 1945. In the letter the writer talks about the atomic bomb. The letter reads:

Dearest Teddy,

My mind has been in a turmoil since your telephone call last night.  You know how much I want to be with you that is the most important thing in the world to me, but there are so may factors to be considered.  Firstly, I believe the war to be over, theoretically.  Every news commentator says that it is a matter of days or even hours.  With the Russian addition and the atomic bombs, it is impossible for it to last......Marianne

The letter is in very good condition, with some light wear and there are some light stain marks which does not affect the reading.
