Offered here is a new reproduction Rev War/Colonial Period Military Tricorn hat. At the time, these were called "Cocked Hats," as they are to be worn with the front corner over the left eye. This is so that the gun does not hit the left corner of the hat and knock your hat off. This is our good quality hat; it comes with white cotton tape around the edge, which is a little brighter than our best quality hat. This is a military hat, suitable for British and American Army impressions, tory and patriot militia impressions. It is NOT a civilian hat; we'll have them up soon!
For sizing, measure across the brow and above the ears where you wish the hatband to sit on your head when you wear the hat. If you plan to wear your hat over something else (such as a wig or bandana), take your head measurement while wearing your wig or bandana. Be sure to give an exact measurement, being careful not to add any additional length to the measurement. Do not use clothing label sizes or other hats for any sizes, as they will almost assuredly be incorrect. We don't know what an S or an XXL is, so please don't tell us that either, as we will then have to guess at the size of your noggin, and it will again assuredly be incorrect, and you'll get to pay shipping over and over again.
