Sept. 1888 Century CIVIL WAR Passenger Pigeons Illust.

The Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine, Vol. XXXVI, No. 5 (September 1888). Pictorial wraps, 10 x 7 in., approx. 157 pages plus 62 pages of ads, illustrated throughout. Typical light handling wear (mainly to edges; loss to bottom of spine), and marginal tear to two leaves, otherwise clean and near fine.

An interesting issue of this important periodical, well-known for its wide range of topics, wealth of illustrations, and eminent contributors.
