SEE PHOTO----- Lot of 25 different Civil War dated issues of an ORIGINAL Newark (NJ) newspaper, the Newark Daily Advertiser and the Newark Weekly Journal.

The 25 issues of these two Newark newspaper titles, dated between January, 1861 and June, 1865 are selected at random from our inventory of these two titles. All are printed on rag paper or transitional rag paper and can be handled and read. All have some minor defect such as edge tears, folds, very small articles cut out, soiling, etc. However these 25 issues are truly a "time machine" to take the buyer back to the days of the Civil War.

LOTS of Civil War news and many LOCAL Newark, NJ ads from almost 150 years ago, when Abraham Lincoln was President of the US  !!!

This would make a great gift for that Civil War buff that you know !!

The lot price of $75 for 25 issues is less than one pays for the New York Times today !!!

This listing includes the 25 original newspapers, NOT just a clipping or a page of them. STEPHEN A. GOLDMAN HISTORICAL NEWSPAPERS stands behind all of the items that we sell with a no questions asked, money back guarantee.
