PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES!DESCRIPTION:Greetings! Thanks for stopping in,at auction here for your Consideration:..SUPERB WPA ERA, PRE WAR, 1936 GERMAN CASTLE SCENE OIL PAINTING O/C by H. SAMFAR. Signed by artist and dated in lowwer right: H. SAMFAR 1936. When I pealed the old brow paper off the back I found a nice note that reads: A present to your engagement, from your sister and brother in law Paula - Heinz, and below in German for engagement: Zur Verlobung von Paula - Heinz. I found this great old painting in the attic of a old south shore Chicago Mansion last week. It is a very interesting time capsule of the WPA ERA. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES!CONDITION:...Painting has two small missing patches of paint, and on right side paint is worn and thin. The frame is strong and strudy, but also missing some gold paint, and it has a slight bit of warpage, but not enough to effect veiwing when hung on wall, in other words it is a genuine old painting!.... SIZE:....Frame 23 3/8" TALL X 30 1/2" WIDE. Painting only when measured from back 19 3/4" x 27". it will weigh aprox. 9 lbs when packed

The items I list are found at Estate , garage sales ,Auctions, and they are antique vintage items and have been preowned. Even if they were never used.They are not new and show varying signs of age ,wear yellowing from storage in linens and clothing. I would not know if items purchased are from pet free smoke free homes.I describe items to the best of my knowledge and put numerous photos for you to look at. All Items are sold as is and that doesn't necessarily mean damage just that they were previously owned and handled.Unless I State that I have personally drycleaned or laundered clothing and/or linens it is suggested and would be the responsibility of winner to have them cleaned & laundered.
