WWII Letter 1943 Tommy Gun 45 Caliber WW II WW2 War 2 N

An original World War Two letter including the envelope written by Irving Conniwell.  The envelope is postmarked Aug 19 1943. In the letter he talks about a tommy gun. The letter reads:

Dearest Nettie;

Got letter from you today........We had early chow 1120 and fell out at 1220 to go to range where we fired the 45 caliber tommy gun.  They're a nice gun to fire.  Fires at about 700 shots a minute.  We only fired 24 shells just to acquaint us with gun............................Irv

The letter is in very good condition, with some light wear.
